Requirements
The Charles County Sheriff's Office Explorer Post 1658 are looking for males and females who are eager to learn about police work. We want people who want to learn about leadership and service to the community.
Who we are looking for:

15 - 20 years old |

|
14 if you are enrolled in high school |
|
|
Must complete a three month probation |
|
|
Successfully pass a criminal background check |
|
|
Show a minimum grade point average of at least 2.0 for the most recent grade reporting period |

|
Must be able to attend meetings on every second and fourth Monday |
|
|
Must be able to be a team player in a paramilitary organization |
|
|
Must be willing to purchase uniforms |
